Boys Soccer Update

Exciting announcement for all of our boys who love to play soccer!

Depending on your age will determine WHERE you register for spring soccer. 

Boys U9-12 will register here through Cloquet. Birth years 2018-2014


Boys U13-18 will register here through Esko. Birth years 2013-2008


All decisions, rosters, organizing and the rest of the league will be handled jointly with Esko soccer. 

We are looking forward to an exciting season with a combined league for all boys!

Registration is open September 7-22nd  These teams are typically made up of individuals who wish to improve their skills and are ready to compete at a higher level than rec allows.

Registration is open September 7-22nd. A high level of commitment is expected from competitive teams. There will also be 3 or 4 weekend tournaments, that may require a hotel stay.

U12 - Birth Year 2014

U13 – Birth Year 2013

U14 – Birth Year 2012

U15 – Birth Year 2011

U16 – Birth Year 2010

U17 – Birth Year 2009

U18 - Birth Year 2008

Age levels will be combined to make teams.

Teams play in 3-4 weekend tournaments. Tournament only teams do not have weekly games. Each player will play half the game in minutes, unless there is an injury or discipline.

Cloquet Youth Soccer Association

Our Mission

Cloquet Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) is a community based youth soccer organization offering recreational and competitive soccer programs to the Carlton County area. 


We aim to provide a fun, educational, and developmental program suitable for youth players.  The focus is on positive interaction between players, parents, and officials, emphasizing growth in teamwork, sportsmanship, self-esteem, and respect of the game.  We are dedicated to educating players and coaches about the game of soccer. 


Our soccer club belongs to the Arrowhead Youth Soccer Association (AYSA). AYSA provides our club with game and referee scheduling, public relations, state and national affiliation, and administrative support. CYSA operates within the rules and guidelines of the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA). 

We need your help!

We are looking for board members & coaches. Our club is a volunteer-run organization, and we are seeking people who are passionate about soccer!

We can only form teams when enough volunteers step forward to coach.  Cloquet Youth Soccer depends on its volunteers to help turn a soccer season into a GREAT soccer season!
