Summer 2025: Registration is open now via the AYSA website. The program runs for five Tuesday evenings beginning mid-July. Sessions consist of age appropriate soccer activities supervised by trained coaches.

Little NetBuster Sign-Up!

Tournament Only: Age 12 and under

Registration is held early to mid-October. Practices begin in March/April, with play running May - July. Teams are filled on a first-come basis and are dependent on numbers and availability of coaches. Each player plays at least ½ of each game except for reasons of injury, illness, or discipline.  These teams are typically made up of individuals who wish to improve their skills and are ready to compete at a higher level than rec allows. Generally, teams practice two days/week, and participate in 2-4 tournaments between May-July.  Some tournaments may require travel and overnight stays.

Competitive Soccer: U13-U18

Registration is held early to mid-October. Practices may begin in March/April. The season runs May - July. Teams may hold tryouts soon after registration.  Equal playing time is not guaranteed. This option will include some midweek travel to the Twin Cities and may include one or more out-of-town weekend tournaments.  Expect a 4-5 day/week commitment, plus 2-4 weekends. At this time, CYSA fields competitive teams no younger than U13. Players registering on competitive teams are expected to play in league games and tournaments with their assigned team, unless they have a conflict of availability.

Northern League II: U10-U18/19

Registration for Northern League II (previously known as Summer Rec Soccer) is open from February 17-28th. Northern League II Summer soccer teams are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Waiting lists will be made and second teams formed if there is enough interest. Sign-up now!

The season runs from May - July. Each player plays at least ½ of each game except for reasons of injury, illness, or discipline. Generally, games are played two nights a week. Most games are held within a 30-mile radius of downtown Duluth with occasional travel to Grand Rapids, Hibbing, or Biwabik. The season ends with playoffs during the last two weeks of July. Availability of summer rec teams is dependent on coaches and registration numbers at each level- age groups may be combined.

SUMMER SIGN UP!
